Pokhara is the second largest city in Nepal, so there will be a lot of fun things to do. The first thing you should do is get an amazing view of the city. Luckily, there is a great view point:

Pokhara also offers cool waterfalls you can checkout, both inside and outside.
Lastly, a great thing to do is check out the deadliest mountain in the world, Annapurna. No, Annapurna is not located within Pokhara. However, Pokhara Nepal is used as a base for hikes and treks into the Annapurna region.

Sarangkot Hill
This great Pokhara viewpoint is only a 30min drive from downtown. If you want to walk it to Sarangkot Hill, the journey will take you just under three hours.
Sarangkot Hill is located in the Pokhara district of Sarangkot. The jurisdiction is situated on the north western side of Pokhara with an altitude of just less than 20,000 feet. Sarangkot Hill is known for having a great view of the deadly Mt Annapurna.
The hill also offers a nice view of Pokhara's lake, Phewa Lake. Since Sarangkot Hill has such great views, you will for sure want to be here for sun rise and sun set.
Davis Falls, Pokhara
The waterfall at Davis Falls will offer a great view of, well, a waterfall. Davis Falls is just a little south of downtown Pokhara, so you'll be able to walk it and save that beer money.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave
Do you love waterfalls but hate the outdoors? Then Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is the place for you. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave offers the chance to view underground waterfalls.
Local Pokhara Beer
One of the best reasons to go anywhere is to try out local beer, and Pokhara has some great brews: Sherpa Beer. There is a bunch of other Pokhara craft beers. However, they are usually hard to come by. So, for your first time in Pokhara, grab a pint of Sherpa Beer.
