Eiffel Peak Hike

The Eiffel Peak Hike is a popular hiking trail located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. It's considered a challenging-level trail and is approximately 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) long.

The hike begins at the Takakkaw Falls parking lot and follows a steep ascent through a forested area before opening up to stunning views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. From there, hikers continue along a narrow ridge with stunning panoramic views of the Yoho Valley, including the Takakkaw Falls, the Wapta Icefields, and the President Range.

The final ascent up Eiffel Peak involves a scramble up a steep scree slope, which can be challenging and requires some basic scrambling skills. At the summit, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains, including the iconic Mt. Stephen.

The hike usually takes around 6-8 hours to complete, depending on the hiker's pace and the amount of time spent at the summit. It's always recommended to check the latest trail conditions and weather forecast before embarking on the hike, and to bring appropriate gear, including sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing, and plenty of water and snacks. Due to the challenging nature of this hike, it's recommended for experienced hikers only.
