  • One spoon of red chili powder

  • One spoon of turmeric

  • Six hundred grams of lentils

  • Three thousand milliliters of clear non-alcoholic liquid (water)

  • Two spoons of salt

  • Three spoons of minced cilantro


Dal Bhat Dip Recipe
  1. Heat up a frying pan with the oil

  2. Add and cook the onion

  3. Then, set the pan to simmer. Simmer Down!

  4. Put in the ginger, garlic, coriander, chili powder, and turmeric

  5. Put a spoon in the pan and move all the stuff around for a few minutes

  6. Then, put in the lentils and move the spoon around some more

  7. Pour in the clear liquid and get it to bubble

  8. Dump in the cilantro. You can leave it clumped up, or spread it around by moving the spoon

  9. At some point you should have added the salt

  10. Keep tasting it until you figure it's done.
